Welcome to an ancient fort, whith a nice view.
SV: Ymsingsborg är en av Skövde kommuns 4 kända fornborgar. Den är ca 150 m lång och 85 m bred med branta stup i öst och sydväst. Rester av vallar kan man se i nordväst. Ingången har troligen gått genom ravinen i den östra kanten där det finns en öppning i stenvallen. Ytterligare ingångar kan ha funnits på den östra sidan. De flesta av sveriges fornborgar har anlagts under den yngre järnåldern (400-1050 e kr.)
Cachen är en glasburk som ligger i en "systemetkasse"
ENG: Ymsingsborg is one of Skövde municipalitys 4 known ancient forts. It's 150 meters long and 85 meters wide, with steep slope in the east and southwest. You can see remains of banks in the northwest. The entrance to the ancient fort was probably located threw the ravine, where there is a opening in the stonebank. More entrances could have been placed on the east side. Most of Swedens ancient forts has been constucted during the younger ironage. (year 400-1050)
The cache is a glassjar inside a bag from Systembolaget (green bag).
