There has been a serious lack of webcam caches between Salt Lake City and Logan. Now, thanks to Utah's Department of Transportation, we have some new traffic cameras in Ogden that are accessible from the web. I'll let you use the coordinates to figure out where this camera is.
To capture the picture, visit this web page. If this link stops working, then visit the Utah Commuter Link, click on "Ogden" then click on the camera on Harrison Boulevard.
The picture is updated about every five minutes. Sometimes, an image is not available, so try again in a few minutes. (I've had reports that it can be 45 minutes between updates.) This camera has mostly been pointing southward along Harrison, but I've seen it pointing northward. The coordinates are at a location that is lit so you can even be seen at night. As long as you are visible in the picture and on a sidewalk, your log will be acceptable, but get as close as you can to the camera.
In order to log this cache, you will have to have someone watching the camera image. When you are in the picture, have them save the image. Write your log then attach the picture. Logs that don't have pictures (within a day) will be deleted.
