Geocache Description:

Gatineau Park with a view of the famous lake.

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates but it's a good place from which you may begin your search. I've done some research in the archives to uncover this one, you can do the same.The SHORT DESCRIPTION above and the ADDITIONAL HINTS below on this page are the same as an original cache placed in January 2001 that has gone missing and since been archived at the mystery location. Research the archives and when you have found the original cache page that matches, load the coordinates of that original cache into your GPS receiver, go find it and you'll be near the original resting place of one of the first caches in the National Capital Region. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe this was the first one hidden in this region and the second one in "la belle province". Remember there's no pressure to be the first to find this location, that was done many moons ago. Have fun!
