Cache is off of the trail system - best place to park is at the nearby park (N44 49.382 W093 35.800). Busy road from parking - use crosswalk!
Long ago, this site was known as the "dino dig" as a young explorer was quite convinced that a heap of discovered bones was indeed, a real fossil find! Upon further analysis, it was learned that the bones only came from a long passed deer -- but the legend lives on!
To the west of this spot lie a series of ponds which are the drainage system for the nearby "Supertarget". Doesn't seem to bother the ducks!
