A quick and easy Kids and Family cache series, in our little hometown of Buffalo!

Cache Details

This series of caches is for kids, families, and the young at heart! This is our second hide in this park, the first one got mulched when the City removed all the good geobeacons this Spring. If you found it before 4/25/06, please feel free to revisit the cache and log a new find. We hope you enjoy the quick tour of our community parks and playfields!
Location, Parking, and Access

Mills-Sturges Park is located in central Buffalo, just West of Highway 25 and South of Highway 55. Free street parking is available on the West and South side of the park - our usual parking spot is at N 45° 10.955 W 093° 52.931. The facilities here include picnic tables with a small shelter, a blacktop basketball court, a children's playground, and a short loop trail through the woods. Please be aware that the North edge of the park borders an active railroad track, with no fence between the woods and the tracks, so please keep an eye on your little ones here!

This cache is a small cammo'd peanut butter jar, and it starts with a handful of toys, trinkets, and a geocoin. We had troubles with satellite reception back there, but we finally got a good reading with 19-foot accuracy...please let us know if your coords differ from ours, and we've included a more specific hint just in case.
