Airmont Steve: After having survived for over ten and a half years, I regret that I have to archive this cache. It appears that local people keep removing it. I thank all of the many people that have enjoyed finding this geocache and whom have contributed to its longevity.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the woods in a park in the Town of Ramapo.

The place where this cache is located was originally a family residence that the town of Ramapo purchased for a community park. The original plaground equipment was constructed of metal which was later replaced by wooden structures. These climbing structures were finally replaced by plastic equipment. Hence the cache name - Wood to Plastic.

Initial contents mainly for children.
