This is near the second largest public park in the small town of Hyde Park. Its acres of level grassy fields make it popular with children’s soccer leagues in summer. On other days you might find people flying model planes or kites, playing volleyball in the sand court, or holding family reunions in the octagonal brick pavilion. In winter it’s a quiet place. The snowy fields are broken only by the occasional snowmobile track or footprint, and rarely do you see the ones who made them.
