Events have been popping up all around Wisconsin but I figured it was time to have one in my hometown, Kewaskum, WI. This will be a great opportunity to come meet other cachers around the area and see the historic town of Kewaskum, part of the Kettle Moraine. This would also be a good time for people that are new to caching to sit down and talk to others and get some ideas how to improve your caching skills. There will be temporary caches as well as new permanent caches created in time for this event. Make sure you grab your flashlight because there will be night time hunting too! I’ve also heard that there are some older caches that will be archived, so this will be a great opportunity for you to grab those if you haven't done so, before they are archived. I hope you decide to come and spend a day in Kewaskum, see the history around town, fellowship with cachers, and just have a fun day. This cache page will be updated as the time closes in providing more details.

If you plan on staying around for the night cache please let me know when you sign up for the event in your “Will Attend”

----------------------Lunch Pot Luck Info----------------------------------
What to bring for the gathering: - Your own meat to grill (If you need a grill let me know so I can bring one) - Table setting for you and your family (or guests) - Lawn chairs in case we run out of table space - Beverage for your group - A food item to pass. Since everyone will be bringing a LITTLE something, please don't bring a large amount. It minimizes left overs. To ensure variety, please bring an item based on your last name, as shown below:
LAST NAME A-H: desserts
LOL LAST NAME I-P: salad, fruit, and/or vegetables
LAST NAME Q-Z: chips, crackers or other crunchies!
Sorry wont have any electric.

If you have a bicycle you might want to bring it with the price of gas.

Update:

3/08/06
Some temp caches will only be available from 9 to noon.

I should have wrote this about dogs instead of using the icon for no dogs allowed. Dogs are not allowed in the parks but are welcome on the trails and the caches in town so if you want to bring them it is fine. They are also welcome to join us for the night caching.

3/16/06
Received an email asking about doing a pot luck for the event. Anybody like the idea on this? Was not going to do this but if enough like the idea will do it. The other thing there wont be any electric.
