Geocache Description:

Cache is a regular size container holding Log book and Pen and has room for travel Bugs . A short climb to a rock ledge.

Indian Head At the far west end of the “Côte-des-Bains”, one can notice the Indian Head. One day, it was discovered that this mass of rock had the shape of a human face. The presence of the Amerindian nations in the region has undoubtedly inspired generations of artists who have repainted the face of the Indian Head many times. A bicycle trail and a pedestrian area now lead westward to the area. All along the way, one will notice the magnificent houses that act as a reminder of the passages of famous families to “La Pointe”. It is an area to visit often, and above all, do not forget to bring binoculars! Come visit Riviere du Loup`s INDIAN HEAD I worked in this area in the early 70`s and drove by this Indian every day. Someone has continued to keep color in his face. Now its your turn to visit him and search for a cache nearby. The road is a one way so you must park before the cache. On July 27 2019 the container was replaced. It is now a Medium size container.
