Geocache Description:

Micro cache (larger micro) in Strachauer Park in Edina. Some maps list it as Beard Park.

When you are just frazzled from trying to drive the Crosstown along with 20 million others, it’s time to fire up the GPS, get off on the nearest exit and geocache your way back home. Who needs irritating drivers raising your blood pressure when you can spend the time you’d otherwise be stalled in traffic out in the great outdoors finding meaningless treasures in beautiful places?

There is a small park in Edina called Strachauer Park. It is located on Beard Avenue in Northeast Edina, against the infamous Crosstown Highway.

The five-acre park features a playground, a full-sized basketball court, ice hockey rink and warming house, and two soccer fields. Strachauer Park is the perfect destination for any active family—especially geocaching.

Seek micro cache, but not so micro that you can’t see it
