LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is a beautiful hike up Cold Springs Trail. It is a nice trail.. so please keep it nice. I've brought my 3 year old up there and she does just fine. Make sure to bring water on hot days.

This cache is a large ammo box. It was started as a CITO on earth day 2006. A few cachers got together to clean the trail. If you are coming to this cache, please make sure to bring a small bag and clean the trail. This area is too beautiful to leave tracks.

There is no need to trample any plants (at least not when it was first placed). It is in a rock zone.

The original stash contained some whistles, coins, and other small toys.

The trail head is at 34.27.357n 119.39.180w
