This is one of a series of four puzzle caches located in Graham Hills Park. Trail Map. All four will be logged separately. In each of the first three, you will find pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Take one piece from each cache and hold it until you have all three. Once you have them all, follow the directions for "Jigsaw #4-Sum of the Parts" where you will leave all three puzzle pieces. The header coordinates are for a trail junction in the park and have nothing to do with this cache. Park entrance is at N41 7.520, W73 48.312 on route 117.
To get the coordinates for this cache you will take a quick virtual hike. The length of each leg of the hike is unimportant, but they are all equal. Compass headings are magnetic.
First, head out at 120 degrees, turn to 30, there is a nice open space here, next 180. You have reached a spring, make a point to stop and take a drink. Head 270 degrees, now 120. One more leg at 180 and you have the North coordinate.
When you’re ready, take a course of 210 degrees, slightly uphill at 90 then cross an open field to 120. Continue climbing at 210 and you will reach a lookout point where you can take a rest. Head downhill at 240 degrees then 210 and the last leg at 270. Now you have the West coordinate.
This area can be hazardous in slippery conditions, please use caution!
