Cotton Dell a 160 acre ancient woodland site managed by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust
Cotton Dell is a very varied reserve and is home to a wide diversity of wildlife. The woodland contains a wide variety of trees and shrubs including bird cherry, alder, rowan and guelder rose. Some wooded areas are dominated by ash, oak and birch, whilst other areas are dominated by dense, dark conifers.
Please be careful as there are some narrow paths and very steep drops, the path is not buggy friendly.
Warning: Between stages 6 and 7 parts of the path are very narrow and the drop off is very steep
Expect to take around 2 to 2.5 hours to complete the walk
