Team DELTA: Went to replace the log today and, as Sakiman says, the cache set-up was very exposed. The state of the trails has grown a lot boggier and the amount of trash had increased to a disgusting level. We will try to find another spot in the near future to replace this cache.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located on a side trail south of Belmont Lake in Belmont Lake State Park.

The previous incarnation of this cache was muggled and the hiding place damaged so we had to move it to somewhere else close by. We took this opportunity to add a little fun complexity to the cache (well, it seemed like a good idea at the time) - hopefully it'll stand the test of time!
The cache is off the trail, pretty much inaccessible due to the bog and extensive undergrowth. There's a neat way to get at it, which is mentioned in the hint below.
This trail is usually flooded after rain because of the nearby streams breaking their banks, so be sure to wear waterproof boots.
We saw 3 snakes alongside the stream (see gallery). Not sure what kind they are - anyone know? It's not clear from the photo but they had orange/red patches on their bellies.
Enjoy the cache and let us know if it gets compromised again.
New contents are:-
Camera (please do not remove; just take a photo of your visit)
A hacky sack
2 Super bouncy balls
2 Party poppers
2 Silly shooters
2 Clapping hands
Raichu pokemon (sole survivor from old cache)
