Geocache Description:

A small sized cache big enough for swag and small Travel Bugs located with easy on-and-off access to I-77.
(note 5/29/12 - original cache must have walked again.....small back up cache is still in place - it will have to do for now until I can get back up there to replace it - my apologies)

A container located in the the NC Welcome Center. (Access from I-77, even though it does not look like it on the google map below!!) (GPS coordinates were pretty weak at the latest replacement, so the clue is pretty much a gimme - please let me know if you get a better reading)

UPDATE: In September, 2007, the original cache fell victim to a bulldozer. The cache has been replaced and moved to a safer location. The new location is a bit more muggle-sensitive. Please take extra care to hide it again as good or better than you originally found it, thanks!!

This cache would count for Page 15 on the North Carolina Delorme Challenge (GCTYE6), and for Surry County on the North Carolina County Challenge (GC19YRC)
