Dansk beskrivelse:
I Gunnar Sandfeldts bog "Søllerød som det var engang" (6.samling) fortællers om en mindre kendt kilde som omtales i en beretning fra 1743 beliggende "imellem Schotsborg og Lyststedet Aggershvile..." .

I Søllerødbogen 1948 beskriver Avnholt stedet således: Kilden "flyder udaf den derværende banke igennem et trærør udi et temmelig langt smalt vandtrug, alt til den ende, at vandet derudi til creaturernes drikke kan være at opsamle...". Umiskendelige rester af kildestedet, som stadig springer med en fin stråle, blev afdækket i efteråret 2004 og stedet er siden blevet istandsat.
