About the Outdoor Campus:
The Outdoor Campus is a place for learning and fun. Classes are held year round in outdoor activites such as basic GPS, orienteering, hunting, canoeing and kayaking, fly tying and fishing. In winter, classes include cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing and ice-fishing. Most of these classes are geared towards kids but there are plenty of family oriented events as well. In the museum you'll find wonderful dioramas of South Dakota's outdoor habitats... a prairie, an eastern South Dakota woodland, a wetland, agricultural lands and even a backyard landscape!
