Geocache Description:

This is an easily accesible cache located near to Sound Heath.

By seeking this or any other cache placed by myself or maintained by me you accept responsibility for your own safety. Caching can be dangerous. Assess the risk for yourself before seeking this cache!.

Sound Heath is listed as a SSSI by English nature, unfortunately due to invasive vegetation (mainly domestic plants) and heavy tree coverage. Reports show the area is in slow decline due to these circumstances. There are many paths in and around the area to explore the Heath, there is also a small grassed picnic area if you wish to stop for a break.

Parking is available near to the picnic area, please use the waste bins provided as local volunteers have spent many hours ensuring this area is kept clean and free of litter. Please pick up any litter in the area and dispose of it correctly.
