This cache is dedicated to the color yellow in all of its glory. It is located within the bounds of Blackberry Bay Park in Oceanport, NJ. Parking is available in abundance.
Blackberry Bay is a popular park in Oceanport. It has a roller blading rink, a boat launching ramp, a tennis court, a basketball court, and fields for baseball, soccer, and field hockey. It is also the home of the town's pool club in the summer, and the site of the town's "END OF SUMMER FESTIVAL". It is a peculiarity that Oceanport has no fireworks display on July 4th, saving such celebration instead for the first weekend in september to mark the end of summer. Very Strange.
The cache is hidden at the boat ramp end of the park. When hunting, keep a keen eye out for muggles...the wide grassy fields will allow them to move quietly. Be stealthy and discreet, especially as you are taking out the cache and placing it back.
The roller blading rink and boat ramp should be the main focus of your anti-muggle tactics.
The cache is hidden in a little used corner of the park with a waterfront view. The container is cylindrical, about 5 inches across and 6 inches high. Cache has a coat of yellow paint in keeping with its theme. The lid screws on so please make sure it is secure before leaving.
Also, please make sure it is covered and disguised as you found it, so it survives the ever-present threat of muggles. The wood not only acts as camouflage but as an anchoring system in less favorable weather, so please place it back as you found it.
Cache contains the usual logbook and a few trading trinkets, with the twist that everything within is yellow or mostly yellow. That's the theme for trading items here. Please help keep the cache a monument to yellow by trading only yellow or mostly yellow items. Gold and copper coloring is also acceptable.
Good Luck and Enjoy!
