This cache can be reached by way of forest service road 199/2A or by hiking in from the parking lot (N44 04.935, W103 22.343) during the winter months when the road is closed.
I saw this spot while hunting and found it to be a unique rock formation. Bring your camera.
This is an unimproved forest service road; therefore, an off road vehicle is advised. Take the road to the bottom then take a right NE, continue taking the second left NW (199/2A). When the road is open, park in Wild Irishman Gulch (N44 05.398, W103 22.960) 1.48 miles from the parking lot. At this point you will be .3 miles from the cache. Follow the trail until you see the hole in the rock.
If you are up for a little more challenging hike, park in the upper parking lot and follow the fence line down to the forest service road; the cache is a little more than 1/2 mile from there. If you are hiking from there use your GPS to locate the easiest route. Be aware, if you take a direct route to the cache it gets steep in places.
This is also a fun ride on a mountain bike!
If you're afraid of heights you may want to wait below the hole. This is a relatively easy hike, but the last 50 yards to the cache are steep so wear hiking boots, stay away from the poison ivy, and keep an eye on young children. Have fun
