Multikeska vas provede dolni casti Klopotovskeho udoli, ale pokud budete mit cas, muzete ho prozkoumat cele.

Certova slapota neni misto, kam by bezpodminecne musely smerovat masove turisticke pochody, ale patri k novomestskemu folkloru.

Stribrnou rudu v tech mistech pry nasel nekdy v 15. stoleti ci jeste drive sedlak Merta z Blazkova a sam se pustil do dolovani. Misto nalezu pry tajil a nakopanou rudu prodaval.

Mertova dira ovsem nemusi byt vsim konecnym cilem. Pri dalsim pochodu se ocitneme "Na mlejnisti". V 16. stoleti zde byval dreveny mlyn, ktery patril k blazkovskemu popluznimu dvoru.

Nade mlynem je Vlci jama, do niz se lapali vlci.

Taborivali zde cikani, pozdeji trampove a pionyri.

This multicachewill lead you through the lower part of Klopotov valley. But you can explore all the beautiful valley if you have enough time.

Certova slapota - Devil's footprint is a place with special magic. When you go from Nove Mesto along the river Bohdasinsky potok, soon after entering the Klopotov valley you will see it: a boulder in the river with a little hollow, which looks like a print of a devil's hoof.

Mertova dira is the name of the area under Bradla in Klopotov valley. A peasant called Merta found there silver ore in the 15th century. He started to mine and sell it, but he kept the place in secret. There is a written evidence about silver mine in Nove mesto from 16th century. The mining continued and later was interrupted by the 30 years war. In 1783 mining experts determined, that mining started in the 15th century as no gunpowder, only long bars for scabbing were found. Along with silver also pyrite, siderite, quartz, galena and even traces of gold were found in the ore. The mine seemed to be profitable. Josef Frinta and Frantisek Kodydek got a permission to mine on 6th november 1783. But finally they didn't profit and mining was ceased.

If you go further in the valley you will come to place "Na mlejnisti". There was a watermill here in the 16th century.

Above the mill there was Vlci jama - a pit, where wolfs were trapped. Tha last wolf was hunted here in 1826.

Further you will come to a meadow, where used to be a charcoal pile. River Slavonovsky potok merges with the river Bohdasinsky potok here. Furher up the valley a river from Vanovka flows into the Bohdasinsky potok. There is a hill called "Logr" and the valley further to Slavonov is called "Bochmanky". These names have their origin in the time of Silesian war in 1745, when austrian soldiers camped in Klopotov valley.

Next interesting spot is Vankova skala, a small cave where gypsies used to camp and which is now popular by tramps.
