A generous lake shore owner donated the land to the Town of Bass Lake, Washburn County so that a more user friendly public boat landing could be developed. It's a small lake about 99 acres, which fisherman try for Northern Pike and panfish. There's never been any record fish caught here.
GEM'S interest in hiding a cache inspired this hide, so we naturally named it after her. The cache consists of a plastic camouflaged painted qt. jar containing a log book and pencils. Please leave GEM a note. It also contains lots of "good stuff" chosen personally by Gem. Travel Bug "Bouncy Bouncy" is included. You guessed it, it's a ball who wants to bounce around from cache to cache just like GEM.
