Die Burgruine
Stierberg wurde erstmals im Jahre 1187 erwähnt. Frei zugänglich ist
die Vorburg und die Hauptburg. Das Gelände des Vogthauses ist
Privatbesitz und darf nicht betreten werden. Mehr Informationen und

Am einfachsten erreicht man die
Burgruine von der A 9 aus. Hier die Ausfahrt Plech nehmen und
weiter in Richtung Betzenstein fahren. Von Betzenstein in Richtung
Leupoldstein halten, noch vor Ortsende zweigt links eine Straße
nach Stierberg ab. Parken kann man recht gut bei N 49° 40,646
E011°23,105.

The castle ruin Stierberg was mentioned

Most simply you reach the ruin from the
A 9. Take the exit "Plech" and continue to drive toward
Betzenstein. From Betzenstein hold toward Leupoldstein, still
before end of the village turn to the left in direction to
Stierberg. Parking is quite good possible at N 49° 40.646
E011°23,105.
