THIS CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES!
Help! We were recently out placing a cache, and don't remember
where we put it! Here's a story about our experience placing it,
maybe it will help you find the cache...
**UPDATE on 10/04/06** We've edited the story by adding some
italics. Hopefully that should point people in the right
direction. We had been asked for some hints, and the exremely low
number of finds on this cache leads us to believe that the answer
to the puzzle is just not evident enough without more of a hint. We
wanted people to enjoy and solve the puzzle, not become frustrated
or avoid our cache. Keep in mind that looking at maps or streets
won't help solve the puzzle; the story is completely fictional, and
only involves driving directions because it was a convenient way
for us to fit the information into the story. As with all of our
caches, feel free to contact us with any questions or for hints.
Congratulations to the cachers who solved this puzzle before
10/04/06 without italics and this note with hints in it. Now, back
to our regularly scheduled puzzle...
We left our house and took an immediate left.
Five blocks later, we turned left again to avoid
construction, and so we turned right to get back on our
route. Main street was to the left. Eventually, we hit a
dead end. We knew we were lost, so we called a friend and
had them bring the Mapquest web page up. All that was
left was to place the cache and put this whole thing to an
end. Our friend closed the web page down, and when we
got back, we gave him a high five for looking that page
up. After a long day of geocaches, we could finally lie
down for the night.
