Cache is in a clearing at the end of a short trail.
This cache is located next to a beautiful lake where the likes of President Eisenhower, Bing Crosby, and Lawrence Welk vacationed. The trail is not difficult, and there are a few picnic tables and grills in the clearing next to the lake. This is a regular cache (tupperware container covered in camo tape) that initally contained an emergency poncho, American flag pin, dry fly floatant, light stick, soccer club patch, African safari outfitter business card, package of jigheads, toy camera, clippers on a lanyard, and a porcupine quill from South Africa. Please take time to read the information boards that describe the history of this location. We hope you enjoy this location as much as we do.
