Geocache Description:

Name - Libiešu upuralas (Site Code: 172818); Country - Latvia; Designation - Nature Monument; IUCN Category - III

Libieshu Upuralas are the longest caves in Latvia.
They are in the list of World Commission on Protected Areas.

It is a group of 2 separate caves. The longest is 47 m long, but the smallest is 19.5 m .
Archeologists have discovered the signs engraved on sandstone and dated with 1664, wich means that these are the oldest signs ever discovered in Latvia on sandstone.
