Located at entrance to the Woodville Cemetery.
This is a super easy cache smiley for the day.
It is a 35mm canister camouflaged.
When we came to GA I knew little about the history of the Civil War. Purple Haze got so interested in it he joined the NSSA as well as Big John. They became members of the 3Rd GA Volunteer Infantry. In the NSSA years they participated in competitive shooting events on local, regional and National levels. It was on one of our visits here we found this grave and knew there was another one of those "coincidences of life".What is so interesting is the Confederate Soldier from the 3Rd GA Infantry. Locate his grave visually with the curbing and corner shrubs at W 33.40.204 N83.05.958 .
Although the grave marker itself is simple, it just so happened that Purple Haze and Big John both became members of the 3RD GA Volunteer Infantry.
We have come to this cemetery for several friends now and recall memories of those old friends.
