Geocache Description:

Salir is the biggest parish of Loulé, with 200 Km2.

A segunda, Cristã.

O segundo, à Ermida do

Here’s were the Knights of the Military Order of Santiago, led by D. Paio
Peres Correia, join the Portuguese King D. Afonso III , and start to conquer the
al-Gharb al-Ândaluz, after it, Kingdom of Algarve.

The waypoint is nearby two constructions. The first one is Moorish, more precisely
Berber. The second one is Christian. The Algarve and most of the south of Portugal
 ware made by this duality.

The first one is the Castle (ruins) from the Almohad Dynasty (12th century), that
defended this town from the Christians incursions. The second one is the “Ermida
do Pé da Cruz” (small church).

From thins points, you should take some information and calculate the cache’s
position.

O Percurso:

The rout:

consta desta imagem;

We advise you to see the museum near the first coordinates and take a small walk
on foot threw the town backstreets.
