No longer a puzzle cache; still in an undervisited location. Don't bother making chit chat with the residents; they've got dirt in their ears.
The cache is now a single stager with no puzzle. There is plenty of parking at the ice rink less than 1/4 mile from the first stage. Follow the field road past the broken asphalt/gravel pile, into the trees and go straight across the tracks. You may have to bushwhack about 100 ft from there. There is a newly raked trail but you'll have to look for it.
