Just got my first GPS and this find helped me learn how to use it better. Thanks for the helpful description.

Used this benchmark a couple of times over the years. I have to think that this was named in honor of Lander surveyor and longtime WYDOT surveyor Jack Hart. I am happy to have known and worked with Jack and thrilled to use his benchmark. Used it for some work in the Lander area.

N 42° 50.270 W 108° 43.039

Went out at 7:00 AM this morning and found this one. I have used this one before and it has been moved a few feet and put in a box since I seen it last. Probably for highway widening.

Thanks,

LSPMAN
