I nearly panicked when I saw the new sidewalk and some cleared earth. Fortunately, a little persistence paid off as I found it about 4 feet from the Pedestrian Crossing sign. All is well here.

Found in good shape while in the area.

Found as described. Not tough as there was a three foot vinyl arrow pointing to it. A note on the arrow mentioned aerial photography.

This is our first benchmark.
And it was easy to find.

Found with TeamKlabis.

Was hidden in overgrown grass but we found it after a few minutes of canvassing the corner

To find this marker was not really a problem. The grass around is like on a golf course.

Final stop on a great day of caching. The log descriptions help along with the fact that the USGS is spray painted on the curb with an arrow to the mark.

I started with this disk on my lunch hour. barely visible with the dirt and lawn. near a nice subdivision with new road construction

First benchmark, easy find. Had fun.

Walked over it the first time. It was crusted over with dirt. Cleaned it up a bit.

This was my first bench mark. Found it easily.

Found at 5:30 p.m. Nice easy first Benchmark. 1 down.

I found my first benchmark! It is located on the southwest corner where Falcon meets Tienken about 2 or 3 feet from Tienken and about 30 feet west of Falcon.

Easy to find in the subdivision.
