Made a trip to the Oakhurst area and had to look for some benchmarks too! This one was pretty easy to locate.

Once you've found the right bridge you don't really need a GPS as the marker is right there in the sidewalk along side the bridge. An interesting marker.

Found it as described. My stats compared to this High Precision survey. My Garmin etrex Vista c GPS receiver with WAAS enabled and 10 satellites in view all with 3 or 4 bars signal strength indicated the following;
N37°19.851' W119°39.052'
Elevation = 2264 feet
Measurement count = 335
Estimated acuracy = 9.2 feet

Disk is on the bridge next to my GPSr.

An easy find. The description is dead on and the disk is in great condition.

Tigger is just barely visible in the middle of the sidewalk.
