Found this one while out on a geocaching run along Cajalco Rd. Should have researched a little better, because I probably could have gotten a lot more than the two that I did find.

A STANDARD MWDSC 3 INCH BRASS DISK STAMPED LM 45 1995 SET FLUSH IN A 8 INCH DIAMETER CONCRETE POST LOCATED 105 FEET (32.0 M) WEST OF CENTERLINE OF LAKE MATHEWS DRIVE AND 38 FEET (11.6 M) NORTH OF CENTERLINE OF CAJALCO ROAD AND 3 FEET (0.9 M) SOUTH OF 6 FOOT (1.8 M) CHAINLINK FENCE WITH 3 STRAND BARBED WIRE ON TOP AND A CARSONITE POST 2 FT (0.6 M) NORTH. REF MWD FB 2513 02 065.

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in August 1997.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (G = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
