TheEdge said it all - true disk benchmark.

Mark recovered. As previously stated, the mark is still there as is the witness post. Although erosion has started to expose the east side of the concrete post containing the disk. The witness post may not make it through another hurricane, it's footing is exposed and it appears that it is sliding toward the east down the hillside.

Combining a day of benchmarking and caching, this was our last mark of the day. The coordinates were very accurate, and the mark was recovered in good condition. The concrete monument has been spray painted day glo orange. The witness post is still in place. A quick look for the reference marks turned up nothing, but I think the Law offices have expanded to include another building and we didn't have the time to look properly.
