DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 1.3 MI N FROM CYPRESS. 0.2 MILE NORTHWEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 290 FROM THE POST OFFICE AT CYPRESS, THENCE 1.1 MILES NORTH ALONG THE CYPRESS AND ROSE HILL ROAD, 14 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, SET IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTHWEST WINGWALL OF A CONCRETE BRIDGE.

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by GPS observations and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in October 1996.
  • The orthometric height was determined by GPS observations and a high-resolution geoid model using precise GPS observation and processing techniques.
  • The X, Y, and Z were computed from the position and the ellipsoidal ht.
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The ellipsoidal height was determined by GPS observations and is referenced to NAD 83.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
