DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1987 3.6 KM (2.25 MI) EAST FROM FULSHEAR. 0.15 KM (0.1 MI) SOUTH ALONG FM ROAD 359 FROM THE POST OFFICE IN FULSHEAR, THENCE 3.48 KM (2.16 MI) EAST ALONG FM ROAD 1093, 20.2 METERS (66.5 FT) NORTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE ROAD, 28.9 METERS (95.0 FT) EAST-NORTHEAST OF A CITY LIMIT SIGN, 19.8 METERS (65.0 FT) EAST OF A POWER POLE, 8.2 METERS (27.0 FT) NORTH OF THE EAST END OF A 24-INCH CONCRETE CULVERT, 0.5 METER (1.5 FT) SOUTH OF A FENCE. NOTE--ACCESS TO DATUM POINT IS HAD THROUGH A 5-INCH LOGO CAP. THE MARK IS 0.3 METERS W FROM A WITNESS POST THE MARK IS ABOVE LEVEL WITH THE ROAD.

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1991.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (G = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
