Traveling along 90 today on the way home from San Antonio and saw the old water tank in Flatonia so I stopped to take a photo and log the benchmark.

Still there.

It's still there.

Great old tank in a great old RR town. Mama Blaster likes Flatonia!

Found while on a tour of the area's Painted Churches

What a glorious hot summer day. Nothing like a day trip in the Texas country side!

I saw this one while driving along I-10.

I have driven by the location of this benchmark quite a few times in recent years. Its not going anywhere. I was on the way back from visiting some in Marble Falls when I passed the Southern Pacific Tank in Flatonia. Had to stop and log it.

Found on a last minute swing to visit family on Christmas Eve.

I live in Flatonia, so this was easy. The water tank is a central landmark in the small downtown area. Can't miss it.

Very easy find, Tank is surrounded by locked fence.
