Found it on what is now the Brenham Heritage Museum

This is a way cool thing to do - searching for the benchmarks. Thanks Criffree. Since there are not that many of these around it will be interesting searching for them.

Sad to say that I've lived here 30 years and have never set foot in this building... walked by it many times and it is now a museum...

Out with some local cachers today. I showed them the photos of other's and they knew exactly where to go! BTW, there is a very cool fire station museum around the corner (check it out also!)

Control Text

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.) The vertical order pertains to the superseded datum.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
