Found it on our way back to Houston late this afternoon... we had forgotten about hunting for this one while we were in the area the day before, so glad we were in the area once again!

Painted over, but now the building houses the Lee County Office of Emergency Management.

I also was asked what I was doing, but was shrugged off when I explained...

The coordinates led us to the Agriculture Extension office, which is a white-brick bldg. only 20-30 years old. We didn't see the jail house, so gave up. Will try again one day to visit the nearby Heritage Museum.

Found this one by asking around the local police office. What was once the old jail, is now the county sheriff's office. While taking the picture, the sheriff came out of the adjoining jail and wanted to know "what the hell are you doing?" It took some explaining, But we both had a good laugh.
