We usually check all courthouses for bench marks and this one did not let us down.

Spotted this benchmark along with the spire atop the Courthouse while caching and touring Tombstone.
All is good with both.

I was visiting Tombstone, and just happened by the benchmark. I was given a tour of the town by my sister-in-law who lived on Toughnut street in the late 30's!

While in Tombstone we found this easy one. We have come down from Victoria BC to do a little warm Arizona caching

Found the spire, so had to log this one while I was at it...

Man, this is a popular survey disk.

Has anybody reported it to the NGS? There's nothing on the datasheet since 1935.

I have passed this Mark many times in a great museum, I suggest finding this one just for the fact!! My friend showed me how to log these, so I'm starting these as well.

The disk's position is indicated by the yellow arrow on the Tombstone Courthouse. The building is dated 1882, the year after the big shootout.

Another easy one to get while here in Tombstone! If you look VERY closely at this pic, you can actually see the Benchmark to the left of the Courthouse steps.
