I had a great view of the Tybee Lighthouse while completing a nearby Rangerdoc gadget geocache. The next time I visit Tybee, I hope I'll have the chance to explore the lighthouse and climb up to the top!

Had a great visit at this one.

Spent an hour checking this one out.

We visited the Tybee Lighthouse a few weeks ago and we just started using the Waymarking site so I'm backdating this for the day that we were there. I don't have a photo of us with our GPS in hand at the lighthouse though. Beautiful lighthouse, the kids loved climbing to the top of it. It was a little scary when we stepped outside at the top but it wasn't bad. Loved the views too! :)

Stopped by here today... my second visit here, my first one with a GPS.

We've been "finding" this one over and over for many years. With relatives and friends as volunteers at this site over time, its been a joy to see it gradually refurbished.

Climbed the lighthouse while on vacation with the family.

Found it with TheStosh on our honeymoon.

We found this benchmark on our roadtrip honeymoon. The light house is in good condition. It had a large yellow ribbon tied around its cat walk and an American flag hanging vertically from the railing. - TheStosh, Melinda 05/09/2003 9:45AM EST
