Found as described. One of my favorite local churches across street. I attended a few times there as a youngster. Now its a restaurant. Gabriel sits atop. I wonder if he gets his hair done up here?...

Walked right by it this morning. Of course I've walked by it many times before - now that we are geocaching every little thing stands out!

Fire station is now a hair salon. Walked right to this one on a beautiful day. Thanks, KS Cricket

All right! The first benchmark at our california tour.

photoHere it is...

Still there! The current local establishment seems to be a hair salon, advertising "Walk-ins welcome." But I'm sure that that was true when it was a fire station too; anybody needing help could walk in!

Found this one just by parking next to it.

The cool thing about benchmarks is reading the notes that go along with them. There is no way I'd have known that this building used to be a fire station. Very cool architecture.

Zoomed as much as I could with my Canon A70. It's not a great camera for close-ups.

Came by on bike on my way home from work. Benchmark is easy to find and stands out against the light colored building. I think that's a saloon or barber behind the wall.

This was an easy find by just following the directions given. Found quickly with The Greasy Diner before we went to Extraordinary Desserts. After you find this benchmark, be sure to treat yourself to a stop at Extraordinary Desserts - across Fifth and North 1/2 a block! Thanks, Fort Rectus

This one was an easy find, even though the coordinates seemed to be off by about .05mi.
