Not sure if I can claim this Benchmark as found. Definitely found the square on the ground, but there is no evidence that it really is the spot where a plaque was placed.

Finally got back over here (with FlagMan) to find BMs missed when the building was under construction. Skeptical that this in fact the marker, but I found the same square as previous folks.

Looking for benchmarks around the County Office Building. Couldn't find this one. Location description was confusing. Judging by previous "find" photos, it may in fact be gone.

Didn't have the description in hand but found the chiseled cross at N 32° 43.317 W 117° 10.272 and thought this was the station. Looks like I will be looking next time I'm in San Diego.

Found during lunch. Uploading photos.

photoOverview

Found last night. There is no bus stop at this square any longer. It is about twenty yards south of it. You can see where the bench and cover were removed from the cement. The chiseled square still looks as it did in the earlier photos.

Attended 1000.

Located in good condition.

The coordinates were a little off on this one, but I believe it's because all of the ones around this building share a few common sets of coordinates. The coordinates are useful for finding the building, after that, you will need to read the description carefully to make sure that you are recording the correct bench mark.
