This is my third logged benchmark, and walk by here everyday! There is a new tower right next to the old one, and although you can walk up and tough them, they both are easily seen from Balboa Park, the first Naval Hospital, or the really neat, free military museum nearby!

N 32° 43.567 W 117° 08.781

Found as described.

I added a nearer coordinate than that provided by NGS to help with azimuths.
Have a good one!

Found when I was at my Dad's work for the day. He works at this very hospital, NMCSD.

Easily spotted from Park Bl

Located 0900.
Spend a day at the Zoo with some friends and introduced them not only to geocaching, but also benchmark hunting. No descriptive text for this benchmark. Unable to ascertain era of construction for landmark.

We're uploading a photo of the only thing in the area that fits the description. We couldn't get too close as it's in a restricted area. The GPS was pointing in another direction but this was the only stack around.

Found this one easily while in the company of The Greasy Diner. The stack is now somewhat different than the original description due to construction modifications. Thanks, Fort Rectus

It's still there! Although it's been updated recently, it's still standing there as is has for many years.
