DESCRIBED BY ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION 1975 1.2 MI SE FROM PALM SPRINGS. FROM MILEPOST 197, U.S. 60, 70, AND 80, EAST ON THE HIGHWAY FOR 0.9 MILES AND TO THE STATION ON THE RIGHT. ON A CULVERT HEADWALL, SOUTH OF THE EAST BOUND LANE. AN AHD BRASS CAP, SET IN A CONCRETE CULVERT HEADWALL.

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.) The vertical order pertains to the superseded datum.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
