Found in good shape, though the rod may have been bent from its true central location. Access cover is also missing.l

Metal lid has been broken off the container, but otherwise, the rod is still there!

Recovered as described, in 'disturbed' condition. Considering that for other marks similar to this one, the rod (the mark itself) is located in the center of the outer casing, this one seem to have been disturbed. The inner rod is tilted at a considerable angle, and is nearly touching the outer casing on the north side.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1992 14.5 KM (9.00 MI) EASTERLY ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 60 (MAIN STREET) FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 87 (COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE) IN MESA, THENCE 2.8 KM (1.75 MI) NORTHERLY ALONG NORTH POWERS ROAD, A METAL ROD DRIVEN 1.9 METERS (6.2 FEET) AND PROJECTS 03 CENTIMETERS, 34.2 M (112.2 FT) SOUTH OF THE EXTENDED CENTER OF EAST PRINCESS STREET, 15.6 M (51.2 FT) NORTH OF A FIRE HYDRANT, 11.9 M (39.0 FT) EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE NORTHBOUND LANES OF THE ROAD, 2.1 M (6.9 FT) SOUTHEAST OF UTILITY POLE NUMBER 32, 0.4 M (1.3 FT) WEST OF A WITNESS POST, AND 0.3 M (1.0 FT) BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE ROAD.   • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in November 1993.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (G = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
