DESCRIBED BY LOCAL SURVEYOR (INDIVIDUAL OR FIRM) 1924 (T) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 2 MILES NORTH AND 12.4 MILES WEST OF WICKENBURG ALONG THE MARICOPA YAVAPAI COUNTY LINE. THE STATION IS A TRIANGULAR SHAPED MONUMENT ABOUT 2 FEET HIGH WITH A PIPE SET IN TOP. IT HAS A BRONZE PLATE WITH RAISED LETTERS ON NORTH SIDE WHICH READ YAVAPAI COUNTY 1924. A BRONZE PLATE ON SOUTH SIDE READ MARICOPA COUNTY 1924. ATACHED PLATE ON WEST SIDE READS, LAT. 34 00 00 N W.36700.7 FT TO COR. NO5 E. 9113.0 FT TO COR NO7. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF US HIGHWAYS 93 AND 60 IN WICKENBURG TRAVEL WEST ON US 60 FOR 10.05 MILES TO A SIDE ROAD RIGHT, TURN RIGHT AND TRAVEL 4.35 MILES TO RAILROAD TRACKS, PASS THROUGH GATE AND CROSS TRACKS AND PASS THROUGH ANOTHER GATE, TURN LEFT AND FOLLOW TRAIL 2.3 MILES TO DIM TRACKS ON RIGHT. TURN SHARP RIGHT FOR 0.25 MILE TO TRIANGULATION STATION CORRAL. TURN LEFT AT STATION CORRAL AND TRAVEL 0.3 MILE WEST TO CORNER NUMBER 6.

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in August 1993.
  • The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.)
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
