DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1992 0.3 KM (0.20 MI) EASTERLY ALONG WEST VAN BUREN STREET FROM THE POST OFFICE IN TOLLESON, THENCE 3.2 KM (2.00 MI) SOUTHERLY ALONG SOUTH 91ST AVENUE, THENCE 8.0 KM (4.95 MI) WESTERLY ALONG WEST LOWER BUCKEYE ROAD, NEAR THE NORTHWEST EDGE OF THE NORTH CONCRETE FOOTING FOR A HIGH LINE TOWER, 60.5 M (198.5 FT) SOUTH OF THE ROAD CENTERLINE, AND 1.5 M (4.9 FT) BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE ROAD.

  • The horizontal coordinates were scaled from a topographic map and have an estimated accuracy of +/- 6 seconds.
  • The orthometric height was determined by differential leveling and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in November 1993.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
  • The dynamic height is computed by dividing the NAVD 88 geopotential number by the normal gravity value computed on the Geodetic Reference System of 1980 (GRS 80) ellipsoid at 45 degrees latitude (G = 980.6199 gals.).
  • The modeled gravity was interpolated from observed gravity values.
