I also found this benchmark but still no cache that's by it. Soon...

AND SAN TIMOTEO CANYON ROAD. ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF REDLANDS BLVD. TO REACH STATION FROM THE POST OFFICE AT SUNNYMEAD. GO EAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 60 5.15 MILES TO THE INTERSECTION OF REDLANDS BLVD., TURN LEFT (NORTH) ON REDLANDS BLVD. AND GO 3.2 MILES (CROSSING A LOW RANGE OF HILLS) TO STATION ON EAST SIDE OF ROAD. STATION IS ABOUT 112 FEET NORTH-NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE CENTERLINES OF REDLANDS BLVD. AND A DIRT T ROAD LEADING WEST, AND 34 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF REDLANDS BLVD. IT IS 0.75 MILE SOUTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF SAN TIMOTEO CANYON ROAD AND REDLANDS BOULEVARD, 20 YARDS NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF A DIRT ROAD, LEADING TO WEST, AND THE BOULEVARD, 36 FEET EAST OF THE CENTERLINE OF PRESENT BOULEVARD AND 3 FEET ABOVE ROAD LEVEL. REACHED FROM MORENO POST OFFICE AS FOLLOWS-- GO NORTH ON THE REDLANDS BOULEVARD 4.8 MILES TO STATION. R.M. NO. 2 RESET IS A STANDARD DISK IN A 1 FT X 1 FT X 3 FT CONCRETE BLOCK TO WEST OF STATION. RECOVERY NOTE BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1958 (WFM) THE STATION MARK, REFERENCE MARK 1 AND BENCH MARK V 447 WERE RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION. REFERENCE MARK 2 WAS RECOVERED, BUT HAS BEEN MOVED. THE MARK IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, HOWEVER NO RECORD IS SHOWN OF THE MARK BEING MOVED, SO THE DISTANCE AND DIRECTION WAS REMEASURED AT THIS TIME AND IS SHOWN BELOW. REFERENCE MARK 2, A STANDARD DISK STAMPED FAULT N NO 2 1950, IS SET IN THE TOP OF A SQUARE CONCRETE BLOCK WHICH PROJECTS 6 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND. IT IS 52 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF REDLANDS BLVD.

  • The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1996. The horizontal coordinates are valid at the epoch date displayed above. The epoch date for horizontal control is a decimal equivalence of Year/Month/Day.
  • The orthometric height was scaled from a topographic map.
  • The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
  • The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
