||Klemmer couldn't find DX4667
Found RM 4 right away. Followed the arrow to an undocumented witness post, and near the witness post, found the remains of what is probably the concrete pad for the station mark. Later, using the directions & distances from the "box score" of the datasheet, was able to find RM 5. Unable to find RM 3. It might be there, but the area is very brushy and difficult to search.

Helicopter doing practice landings
He landed on several hilltops across the valley, including Gilman Peak. I've seen one doing the same thing a couple years ago. I'm guessing they are OC fire department choppers on training flights. Keep it up!

THE STATION IS LOCATED IN SE 1/4 SEC 14, T 3 S, R 9 W, ABOUT 2 MILES NORTHEAST OF YORBA LINDA AND 4 MILES NORTH OF STATE HIGHWAY 91 (RIVERSIDE FREEWAY). IT IS ON PROPERTY OWNED BY THE SHELL OIL COMPANY, 4024 VALLEY VIEW AVENUE, YORBA LINDA. PHONE 714 528 7076.
TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 90 (IMPERIAL HIGHWAY) AND YORBA LINDA BLVD IN YORBA LINDA, GO EAST ON YORBA LINDA BLVD FOR 0.1 MILE TO A CROSSROAD. TURN LEFT AND GO NORTH ON LAKE VIEW AVENUE FOR 0.8 MILE TO A CROSSROAD (BASTANCHURY ROAD) AND A LOCKED GATE AHEAD. PASS THROUGH THE GATE AND TURN RIGHT AND GO EAST ON A TRACK ROAD FOR 0.05 MILE TO A FORK. TAKE THE LEFT FORK AND GO NORTHEAST ON THE MAIN TRACK ROAD FOR 0.65 MILE TO A T-INTERSECTION. TURN RIGHT AND GO EAST ON THE TRACK ROAD FOR 0.3 MILE TO A T-INTERSECTION. TURN LEFT AND PASS THROUGH THE GATE AND GO NORTH AND EAST UP THE HILL ON THE TRACK ROAD FOR 0.55 MILE TO A CROSSROAD. CONTINUE STRAIGHT AHEAD ON THE TRACK ROAD AND GO SOUTHEAST FOR 0.45 MILE TO A DIM SIDEROAD ON THE RIGHT. TURN SHARP RIGHT AND GO SOUTHWEST FOR 0.1 MILE TO THE TOP OF THE HILL AND THE STATION ON THE LEFT.
THE STATION MARK IS AN ORANGE COUNTY SURVEY DISK STAMPED 3-9-14 RESET 1973, CEMENTED IN THE TOP OF A 14-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT WHICH IS FLUSH WITH THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 51 FEET SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF A POWER POLE, 18 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE TRACK ROAD, AND 16 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A POINT WHERE THE POWER LINE PASSES OVERHEAD.
REFERENCE MARK 3 IS AN ORANGE COUNTY SURVEY DISK STAMPED 3-9-14 RM 3 RESET 1973, CEMENTED IN THE TOP OF A 6-INCH ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT WHICH PROJECTS 2 INCHES ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 45 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE TRACK ROAD.
REFERENCE MARK 4 IS AN ORANGE COUNTY SURVEY DISK STAMPED RM 4 3-9-14 RESET 1973, CEMENTED IN THE TOP OF A 6-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT WHICH PROJECTS 2 INCHES ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 33 FEET NORTHEAST OF A POWER POLE AND 22 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE TRACK ROAD.
REFERENCE MARK 5 IS AN ORANGE COUNTY SURVEY DISK STAMPED RM 5 3-9-14 RESET 1973, CEMENTED IN THE TOP OF A 6-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT WHICH PROJECTS 2 INCHES ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 11.5 FEET SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF A POWER POLE, 10.5 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE TRACK ROAD, AND 2 FEET SOUTHEAST OF A POINT WHERE THE POWER LINE PASSES OVERHEAD.
HEIGHT OF LIGHT ABOVE STATION MARK 4.05 METERS.

THE STATION MARK AND REFERENCE MARKS NO 3, NO 4 AND NO 5 WERE RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION AS DESCRIBED.
- The horizontal coordinates were established by classical geodetic methods and adjusted by the National Geodetic Survey in June 1996. The horizontal coordinates are valid at the epoch date displayed above. The epoch date for horizontal control is a decimal equivalence of Year/Month/Day.
- The NAVD 88 height was computed by applying the VERTCON shift value to the NGVD 29 height (displayed under SUPERSEDED SURVEY CONTROL.) The vertical order pertains to the superseded datum.
- The Laplace correction was computed from DEFLEC99 derived deflections.
- The geoid height was determined by GEOID99.
